Foundations Debate

Foundations Debate Camp It is our pleasure to inform you of a new opportunity that is being offered to high school debaters in Houston this summer. For most debaters, the opportunity to attend a summer institute is invaluable in terms of their debate performance. Unfortunately, most debate camps are highly expensive propositions, and many students cannot afford the requisite investment. This is where Foundations Debate Camp seeks to step in. By offering a local camp during the day, we are able to eliminate expenses such as travel, room, and board. As a result we are able to offer an entire two weeks of instruction for 50% -75% less than other comparable institutions. To further increase debate camp accessibility, we also provide generous financial aid to those who demonstrate need.

As Former Houston area debaters, we at Foundations Debate Camp have an interest in seeing Houston debate continue to improve. Douglas Jeffers, renowned NFL Champion and Terrell Baptiste, Debate Coach at Saint Mary’s Hall School with the most TFA State qualifiers in 2007, are examples of our skilled personnel. Foundations Debate Camp is an established camp. For the past three years we have worked with students in the San Antonio area. Our students have made gains in their performance and all have advanced to the out rounds at TFA State. Our institute aims to expand access to the camp experience. Apply now!
